Gov. Scott Walker Endorses Ted Cruz for President

HOUSTON, Texas – The Cruz for President campaign announced today the endorsement of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Gov. Walker made the announcement on the Charlie Sykes radio show in Wisconsin.

“After eight years of the failed Obama-Clinton Administration, Americans are looking for real leadership and a new direction,” said Gov. Walker. “Ted Cruz is a principled constitutional conservative who understands that power belongs to the states – and to the people – and not bureaucrats in Washington. Just like we did in Wisconsin, Ted Cruz is not afraid to challenge the status quo and to stand up against the big government special interests. He is the best-positioned candidate to both win the Republican nomination and defeat Hillary Clinton. That’s why I endorse Ted Cruz for President of the United States.”

Carly Fiorina Endorses Ted Cruz for President

MIAMI, FL – Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz announced today the endorsement of former Republican Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorina during a rally in Miami, Florida.

“Carly Fiorina is a strong, principled leader and woman of faith,” said Cruz. “Our campaign is stronger with her leadership and her voice. Her story embodies the promise that in America anyone can start as a secretary and become a Fortune 50 CEO. Carly speaks the truth with courage, doesn’t back down to the Washington powerbrokers, and terrifies Hillary and the Democrats. We are blessed to have her support, and together I am confident we will continue to unite conservatives so that every American has the opportunity to achieve the unimaginable.”

“Ted Cruz is a fearless fighter for our constitutional rights. He has spent his life protecting Americans’ God-given liberties, and he has always stood by his word. Unlike the status-quo political class in D.C., Ted Cruz didn’t cower when he got to Washington – he stood unequivocally for the American people. I know Ted, and he’ll do the same as president,” said Carly Fiorina.

By David Limbaugh | March 6, 2016

A Donald Trump supporter told me she likes Ted Cruz but doesn’t believe he is tough enough to handle the powerful forces he’d face in the general election and asked me to convince her otherwise.

Here is a summary of what I told her.

I think you overestimate the power of those forces — a crippled Hillary Clinton team and weakened Democrats. And I gather you mistake Trump’s toughness in business for the muscular resolve he’d need in public office — while underestimating Cruz’s steel backbone.

The only way to reverse the statism and autocratic lawlessness beleaguering America is through conservative principles. Trump has no conservative core, so no matter how tough he is, I see nothing to convince me he would fight for principles he barely believes in.

Super Saturday, when Senator Cruz won 15 more delegates than Donald Trump, marks the beginning of the end of Trumpmania. Mr. Cruz won Kansas and Maine by big double-digit margins, while Mr. Trump nosed out Cruz in Louisiana and Kentucky only by margins of but 3% and 4%.

During the day, a new ARG poll in Michigan showed Governor Kasich rocketing past Mr. Trump into first place, boding well for the Mr. Kasich in Tuesday’s contest in the Wolverine state and at week later at Ohio. Mr. Cruz’s performance on Saturday will enhance his prospects in the two states. Continue reading Ten Days Will Decide Whether Cruz Can Seize Thunder From Trump
