On August 13, at the opening of the fall season for the Nashua City Republican Committee, Karen Thoman, Vice Chairman, introduced members of the 603 Alliance to speak to the NRCC members.

The Amphitheater of the Nashua Crowne Plaza was filled with approximately 40 members of the NRCC as Jim Kofalt and Diane Bitter addressed the group.  When Diane asked for a show of hands of who had heard of the 603 Alliance, nearly every hand was raised.  This was a clear indication that word is spreading — and that’s good.

However, when the follow-up question was asked:  “How many of you think you understand the mission of the 603 Alliance and why we are holding a caucus?” only a few hands were raised.  Seems like we still have a bit of work to do . . .

Diane and Jim began with a brief history of the 603 Alliance, a video clip from the April 19th Grassroots Summit which launched our initiative, and then an explanation of our mission and goals.

This attentive crowd of strong conservatives had many questions and it was a lively discussion for as long as time permitted.  After the meeting, many stayed on to continue the questions and discussion.

We left the meeting confident that the attendees now understand the mission of the 603 Alliance and our Grassroots Presidential Selection (GPS) Caucus to be held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 17.

The 603 Alliance members are grateful to the NRCC for this opportunity to introduce our project to them, and we invite their further participation.
